Building a Private User Area with WordPress

I had the great pleasure of presenting a talk at the Vancouver WordPress Meetup group on Thursday about building a private user area with WordPress. I used a recent client site as an case study to explore WordPress’ Roles and Capabilities, and introduced several plugins (User Access Manager and Capabilities Manager) to create user groups, roles, and assign capabilities.
