Jackie Connelly and Tina Thompson came to us with a very clear vision of what they wanted for their blog on food sensitivities. They were looking for a site that reflected their earthy, retro style yet would appeal to all with food intolerances and sensitivities.
Focus of the site is on a sophisticated blog featuring a multi-tiered categorization system for their delicious recipes. The site also features a recipes page with categories organized in tabbed format, and an international store locator with fully interactive map preview that allows Jackie and Tina to profile stores of interest.
MailChimp newsletter signup, social media links, and related posts functionality are all integrated into this elegant and primarily functional website.
Design incorporates natural watercolouring effects, with warm tones and textures of autumn. All the while, Jackie and Tina’s food photography serve as the main focus.
